TRAINING AND CAREERS with MOVA

We are proud to have our very own specialist in-house academy at Mova Staines and we ensure that all our staff are kept up to date with all the latest hairdressing trends and techniques in the industry.

Giuseppe Vaccaro, director of Mova and head of our Training School, ensures all Mova staff are continuously educated on a weekly basis to guarantee quality and consistency in their work and Lorenzo Mortellaro is a qualified NVQ assessor.

Mova’s Diploma Course is a step-by-step progression through the NVQ curriculum, with classes every Monday in our in-house school. It’s an intensive course including theory, salon demonstrations and practical, hands on experience in the salon using live models. Students are taken through each individual module carefully covering all aspects needed to become a qualified hairdresser with an NVQ qualification at the end of the course.

The Diploma students also attend seminars and workshops to some of our professional product range suppliers. These workshops are an essential part of the syllabus and cover topics such as Client Care, Consultations, Product Care and Advice giving the students an insight into their future contribution to the effective running of the salon and essential customer care and service.
